It hard to imagine a more precise summary of what a NUMISMATA is all
about than what a devoted visitor and critic wrote in a letter: “It is always a great pleasure to travel to Munich to see that coin fair. It’s like a world bazaar. You are meeting people, you are having a talk, you are bargaining, you are making good deals – some small, some bigger. The experiences and adventures you are having here make nice and funny anecdotes for years to come.” And it is true - the world comes to Munich to see its NUMISMATA. Nearly one third of the exhibitors comes from abroad. Dealers from 28 countries are present, from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Finland, France, Greece, Great Britain, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lebanon, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Malta, Monaco, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Sweden, Switzerland, Slovenia, Spain and the United States of America. This variety of dealers makes for a range of excellent offers, which can rarely be found elsewhere. Is the special NUMISMATA atmosphere simply due to the great number of people from different countries? You can hardly find another event collectors are looking forward to so keenly than NUMISMATA Munich. The exhibition hall is filled with good vibrations and exhilarated visitors. Everyone expects to make a good deal. But it is much more than that: at a NUMISMATA you will meet dear friends from all over the numismatic world. After one year without seeing each other, friends meet accidentally at a coin dealer’s table. Internet acquaintances make a date to have dinner together. Hence, NUMISMATA Munich is not simply a place to buy but a place for all coin-lovers to get together. The next NUMISMATA Munich will take place on March 6th and 7th, 2010. Those, who don’t want to wait so long, are welcome to attend the NUMISMATAs of Vienna, Berlin and Frankfurt. Here there are the next dates of the NUMISMATA: NUMISMATA Vienna May 16 and 17, 2009 NUMISMATA Berlin October, 10 and 11, 2009 NUMISMATA Frankfurt November, 7 and 8, 2009 |
