Contemporary Numismatic Art in Monumental Format
Numismata is proud to welcome Carlos Catalogart as a special guest artist at this year’s fair. Based in Portugal, Carlos Catalogart is internationally recognized for his unique artistic approach that transforms coins into striking high-resolution visual artworks.
Using advanced photographic and digital composition techniques, he creates ultra-detailed images of historical coins that can be reproduced at any scale, from intimate prints to monumental formats for walls, floors, and large exhibition spaces. His work bridges the worlds of numismatics, photography, and contemporary art, offering collectors and visitors a completely new way to experience coins.
Live Exhibition at the Center of the Hall
Carlos Catalogart will present five large-format artworks, each measuring approximately 150 × 150 cm, displayed on a dedicated central exhibition wall inside the main hall.
